AW-Energy Site Manager Hugo Alves, CTO Jussi Åkerberg, Enel Innovative Business Opportunity Manager Antonella Colucci and AW-Energy Business Development Manager Mikko Nyman at the WaveRoller site in Peniche, Portugal.
AW-Energy shares know how with Enel Green Power on WaveRoller licensing and technology to allow global project replicability.
The two companies sharing a vision for a future of clean energy began their cooperation in September: AWE will share with EGP information on project execution, from licensing and grid connectivity to logistics and operations. During the following year AWE will also share information on its FOAK (First-of-a-Kind) device launched in Peniche, Portugal, including visits to the operational site.
─ We’re excited to start working on this contract with such an innovative and discerning customer, it’s a testament to the diligent work of Team WaveRoller and an honor to participate in ENELs vision – New era, New energy, says AW-Energy CEO Christopher Ridgewell.
The collaboration is a continuation to AWE’s previous steps in commercialization of the WaveRoller technology, such as the EPC agreement with Wärtsilä, and will help expand the company further.
